During this process, the consular officer verifies that the client appearing in front of him is alive by confirming that it is him/her who is signing the form received from the Hungarian Pension Disbursement Institute.
Who can initiate this procedure?
Any person who regularly receives a pension from Hungary and must prove that he/she is still alive on the form of the Hungarian Pension Payment Institute.
Documents to be submitted
- Valid Hungarian and Israeli passports
- The original (printed, but not signed!) Pension Institute Form (the application form is sent by the Pension Disbursement Institute to the client directly)
Method of submission
- The application must be submitted in person, after a prior appointment
- No fast track procedure or emergency appointments are available
- Appointments cannot be booked by phone or e-mail, only online

The process is completed immidiately on spot.
